U8 All Star Game Under the Lights 11/2

The U8 Coaches and families cordially invite you to their U8 Game Under the Lights! (Kids who will be playing U9 next year.) We'd love to have your expertise and assistance on the fields to help make the experience more beneficial for the kids. We're looking at about 4 teams of 15 kids.

Date: November 2nd, 2008
Time: 5:30 - 8:00 p.m. - games at 6:00 p.m. & 7:00 p.m.
Place: 419 Field

Please feel free to bring your own child with you to play in the game!

Please reply if you will be coming and for which game, so we can plan accordingly.

Wernersville Halloween Parade

The CW soccer club will be walking in the Wernersville Halloween parade this year. It will be held Next Thursday 10/30. It will go from the old Worley's Lumber on the West side of town and finish at the Wernersville Fire Co. just behind the Penn Werner Hotel. Please have your players meet at Worley's no later than 7:00, parade begins at 7:30. Parents are to pick up the kids at the Fire Co following the parade. There will be free hot dogs and drinks at the Fire Co.

Coaches, please walk with your team and make sure all children are accounted for. They may bring candy to hand out along the route, but please remind them to not throw candy directly at the people watching the parade.

All U6 & U8 players are to wear their games shirts and the U9 and above players are to wear their WHITE shirts due to the blue ones being really dark at night.

Spring Soccer Update 1

It's not too early to start thinking about Spring Soccer.

If your child is not participating in Spring Soccer in 2009, we need to know NOW so that we can start planning ahead. Please let me know. More information on Spring Soccer to follow ... This year, there will be no Spring Tryouts; the team you play in will remain the same between Fall and Spring until the number of players requires us to combine teams.

COACHES: Please find out from your players who will or will not be participating in Spring 2009.

U6: This does not apply to U6 players.

U8: There *may* be U8 Soccer in the Spring. Information to come...

PICTURE DAYS POSTPONED DUE TO WEATHER

The CWYSC picture days to be held at CW East Elementary on Sat. 9/27 and Sun. 9/28 have been postponed due to rain. Check with your coach or team chat page for details about the rescheduled picture session for your team.

Annual Coaches' Game & Raffle Drawing - Oct. 12

Join the CWYSC for a fun-filled evening. Watch club the coaches huff and puff up and down the soccer field trying to do all those things they tell the kids to do all season. During half time, the drawing for the annual raffle will take place.
